We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of build, packaging, and deployment solutions for SEPAX cell therapy devices in a GMAP-regulated environment.

This role focuses on ensuring reliable, scalable, and fully automated software delivery using Azure DevOps pipelines and Sepax.Updater system.

Sepax.Updater is a deployment component/tool inside the system that is responsible for installing and updating software on devices (instruments) automatically

The role is responsible for establishing automation building/deployment of any kind of package (operating system, firmware, software, application) to multiple instruments (devices) at the same time.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support integration, decommissioning activities, and continuous improvement.

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• • Design, optimize, ensure stable, reproducible, efficient builds systems (MSBuild, C++)
• Define packaging standards, build silent, reboot-safe installers
• Manage versioning and dependencies
• Design Azure DevOps pipelines
• Standardize build → package → release flow
• Implement governance and automation
• Integrate with Sepax.Updater for deployment and upgrading
• Root cause analysis across pipeline/system and devices
• Ensure GMP compliance and GMAP alignment
• Support production-scale deployment

A University Qualification in DevOps Engineering or a related degree is required.

• At least 5+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience Azure DevOps experience
• Proven expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and automation.
• Experience MSBuild, C++ build systems
• Solid understanding of packaging & installer knowledge
• OS-level understanding
• Strong scripting (PowerShell/Python)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple devices
• Ability to work in complex, distributed, and multi-domain environments.
• Good at both spoken and written English communication.

• GMAP / medical domain experience
• Embedded systems knowledge
