About The Role

G2 is looking looking for a passionate Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to join our team. The role will work closely with architects, software engineers and operations to design, build, deploy, manage and operate our development, test and production infrastructure. The Senior DevOps will be part of a global team and contribute to build and maintain infrastructure and help us achieve SLA goals of 99.99%

In This Role, You Will: 

• Implement best practices for software build, deployment and maintenance.

• Work with our infrastructure organization on environment setup, automation, and streamlining the stand up and scale out of infrastructure.

• Develop and improve our monitoring and alerting systems.

• Assist with capacity planning and load testing of our applications.

• Automate the deployment of our platform and all the systems it depends on.

• Research various infrastructure and solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Administration of AWS resources including provisioning, monitoring and maintenance.

• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) cluster and continuously improve the deployment process of our applications.

• Work with various Engineering teams to outline the DevOps execution strategy for different projects.

• Drive Automation efforts across the organization utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Configuration Management, and Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous

• Delivery (CD) tools such as Jenkins/ Github Actions (GHA).

• Assist with organization wide security considerations. Find the best ways to identify security risks and incidents and suggest improvements and create automation as needed to detect and mitigate those risks.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  4-6 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AWS cloud, automation, and orchestration.

• Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure services (EC2, Auto Scaling, ELB, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, SSM, Config, Route53, CloudWatch, EKS, etc.)

• Proven ability to design and manage role-based access control and AWS IAM policies.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience building automation pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker).

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and AWS SSM.

• Solid understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, security, and containerization (Kubernetes).

• Experience integrating AWS solutions with other cloud service providers (GCP, Azure) in multi-cloud environments.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Prometheus, etc.).

• Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Solid experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
