Senior DevOps Engineer for Industrial AI Cloud + Sign on Bonus 3000 eur

Purpose

NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world’s first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions.

Role Overview:

DevOps Engineer (Senior) / Senior DevOps Engineer provides consultation of functional organization to implement DevOps principles in term of culture and technologies. Holder of the position prepares prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology, driving continuous improvement. Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications in order to deliver quality standard product portfolio on AI Factory Cloud platform.
• Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements.
• Consult and provide advice or information at request or at own initiative to all relevant employees or customers regarding technical aspects of products.
• Consult and provide project deliverables to fulfil the project scope.
• Consult and implement new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy.
• Owns responsibility for maintenance & support of enhancement of the Product pipelines with further levels of value chain, connecting pipeline to different platforms and infrastructures, integration of different platforms and infrastructures into the pipeline, root-cause analysis of pipeline runtime errors
• Provide overall solutions and principles in planning, developing, and implementing new products to satisfy business requirements.
• Develop, and implement architecture of services based on AI Factory Cloud platform requirements.
• Mentor and train co-workers to spread knowledge level and develop their skills.
• Creates concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operating models.
• Act as key technical lead and solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team.
• Provide consulting services to project teams on areas of expertise.
• Setups and manages integration with partner applications.
• Research and development in assigned technology, determine business requirements, propose changes and develop implementation plans.   

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Have Master`s degree in Information technologies
• 4+ years - Experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
• 2+ years - Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures
• AI Factory Cloud platform sw stack knowledge incl. its dependencies on below layers
• NVIDIA GPU-Accelerated server platform knowledge
• Data Engineering, Data Transformation, Data Migration tools knowledge
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes (or similar) container-based technologies
• Experience with VMware environments (VMware Tanzu Kubernetes)
• Experience with scripting languages (Go/Python/Bash)
• Experience with Automation tools and automation deployments (Ansible/Salt-stack/Terraform/Helm)
• Experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management
• Experience in automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus, …)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2 600 € /brutto.
