Role overview

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer to transform analytical insights into production-ready models. You will focus on core data science and machine learning, with a particular emphasis on recommendation systems and predictive analytics. You will work within a cross-functional team to ensure that our AI solutions are practical, scalable, and robust.

As a Senior Data Science Engineer at Qodea, you’ll:

• Perform statistical modelling and apply supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
• Preprocess, clean, and engineer features from large datasets to improve model performance.
• Leverage graph structures for analytical insights and interact with graph databases.
• Integrate LLMs into applications for reasoning and data understanding.
• Design and implement model validation and evaluation frameworks to ensure reliable predictions.
• Collaborate with MLOps and data engineers to move models from research to production.

Things that will make you stand out:

• Proficient in Python for data analysis and machine learning using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with model clustering and segmentation techniques.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an iterative approach to development.
• Familiarity with MLOps principles including versioning and monitoring.
• Skilled in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Nice to have:

• Experience with data vectorization and emerging vector-based technologies.
• Knowledge of GCP data and ML services.
