Team overview
The Lipper team maintains both static and dynamic fund data across a broad range of fund types. Every day, our analysts work closely with Fund Management Companies and third‑party data providers to collect and validate fund information ensuring the delivery of accurate and up‑to‑date data to our clients. In addition, we are proud organizers of the Lipper Fund Awards a highly influential recognition programme that honours the best‑performing funds across more than 17 countries worldwide.
The Roles and responsibility
· Develop Python‑ and AI‑driven workflows to automate the processing of pricing, NAV, benchmark, and performance datasets.
· Handle and process pricing, NAV, benchmark, and performance-related datasets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
· Enhance and run quantitative models used for calculating risk adjusted performance, returns, attribution, and pricing validation checks.
· Provide high‑level support to external clients by responding to data queries and finding opportunities to enhance the client experience.
· Support internal partners and external clients with data queries, content clarifications, and Lipper‑related issues.
· Build AI prompts and intelligent agents to automate data validation, exception handling, and routine reporting tasks.
· Create automated pipelines to source, cleanse, validate, and load performance and pricing data into internal databases.
· Maintain continuous monitoring frameworks for data timeliness, exception management, and quality assurance.
· Work closely with operations, technology, and product teams to implement scalable analytics and automation solutions.
· Collaborate with Lipper operations and technology teams to improve timeliness and strengthen data integrity.
· Build automated Power BI dashboards to track pricing accuracy, performance metrics, and Lipper content quality.
· Use AI tools to generate insights, summaries, and interpretive commentary for internal collaborators.
· Drive process improvements through AI agents, automation techniques, and workflow optimisation.
· Mentor analysts and new starters on databases, AI prompting, and data‑quality guidelines.
Knowledge & Skills:
· Strong experience with Python for automation, data transformation.
· Ability to work with large datasets, including Lipper performance data, fund classifications.
· Proficiency in Power Automate (workflow automation) and Power BI (dashboard development)
· Ability to design effective prompts for LLMs used in data validation, summarization, and agent workflows.
· Experience with AI agents or copilots integrated into operational processes.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving approach with high attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication for explaining Lipper processes and performance data.
· Commitment to high quality client service and accurate content delivery.
· Ability to collaborate across teams and support time sensitive results.
