Job Description
Job Description & Summary
Do you want to help organizations improve the way they report, disclose and transform their finance processes with technology and AI? Are you looking for a role where you work at the intersection of accounting, reporting, deals and digital transformation?
You support clients in building high-quality digital reporting processes, future-proof finance functions and smarter ways of working in accounting and reporting. You work on projects where regulation, transactions, systems and technology come together, including IFRS, CSRD, XBRL, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions. You also help clients explore how automation, analytics and GenAI can improve the quality, speed and scalability of reporting activities. You will join a fast-growing multidisciplinary team where collaboration, learning and innovation are central.
This is what you’ll do
You will be part of the Digital Transformation team within Broader Assurance Services, where you work closely with colleagues across accounting, deals, data, systems and AI transformation. The team is collaborative, international and focused on helping clients solve complex reporting and transformation challenges with practical, technology-enabled solutions.
In this role, you support clients on digital accounting and reporting topics, with a focus on XBRL reporting, disclosure management, finance transformation and the use of new technologies in reporting environments. You help clients respond to changing regulations and reporting requirements while improving processes, data flows, governance and controls. At the same time, you contribute to innovative internal and client-facing solutions that combine accounting expertise with technology and AI.
• Assist in the preparation, review and validation of XBRL reporting packages, including ESEF and SBR;
• Support clients in the implementation of disclosure management systems such as Workiva and other digital reporting solutions;
• Help optimize and digitize financial and non-financial reporting processes, including process design, data flows, governance and controls;
• Contribute to finance and reporting transformation projects related to regulatory change, system implementations, IPOs, carve-outs, mergers and acquisitions;
• Identify opportunities to apply automation, analytics and GenAI to accounting and reporting activities, and work with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions.
You recognize yourself in this
You are eager to learn, enjoy solving complex problems and like working with others to turn accounting and reporting challenges into practical solutions. You combine a strong interest in business content with curiosity about systems, data, workflows and digital tools.
• A completed or nearly completed Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Data and Business, Information Management or a related field;
• Demonstrated affinity with accounting, reporting and finance transformation;
• A strong interest in technology, digital tools, data and AI in day-to-day work;
• Preferably experience with XBRL reporting, disclosure management technology, finance systems, reporting tools or digital transformation projects;
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
