We’re looking for a C++ Software Engineer (macOS) to join a global endpoint security project protecting corporate devices and workspaces from modern cyber threats. You’ll work on a high-performance macOS security agent, tackling OS-level challenges that directly affect system stability, performance, and security in real enterprise environments.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys macOS internals and low-level development, building reliable, production-grade components that operate close to the operating system.
You’ll join an international and distributed team, collaborating daily across time zones in a remote-first format with regular syncs and strong cross-team communication.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain endpoint security features for macOS with a strong focus on performance and reliability
• Take full ownership of features across the development lifecycle, including implementation, support, and maintenance.
• Work closely with QA teams in Sweden and R&D team in Tel Aviv to ensure thorough testing and high-quality delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support through direct interaction with customers
• Drive automation and continuous improvement in development processes
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience developing in C++ on macOS
• Hands-on experience with Python and Objective-C
• Strong working knowledge of Git, Copilot, shell scripting, and automation frameworks
• Deep understanding of macOS internals, system architecture, and security principles
• Proven ability to deliver performance-critical software with rigorous testing
• Confident written and spoken English (minimum B2 level), sufficient for effective communication in an international environment
• Practical, results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on service quality and problem-solving
