Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

· Create and support fully automated and web-accessible anytime network dashboard for EHS and MassIT-monitored WAN circuits which automatically incorporates WAN data from new Secretariats brought on as part of OneNetwork

· Create and support fully automated and web-accessible anytime application dashboard for all data center applications and Wily-monitored (Java) EHS applications

Expected outcomes and deliverables include:

· Summary network metrics available online, on-demand in “local” Splunk

· Network information updated automatically with new circuits, etc.

· “Local” Splunk data and dashboards migrated to production Splunk

· Operations teams trained on network dashboard

· Production Splunk configured for TMG log ingestion

· Application dashboard built in production Splunk

· Production Splunk ingesting TMG, F5, Ace load balancer logs

· Automated EHS Wily data pull POC

· EHS Wily ongoing automated data capture

· Operations trained on application dashboard

· LAN metrics definition/capture

· Support Metrics

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge or experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.

• Demonstrated knowledge or experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

• Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.

• Working technical knowledge of Java, J2EE, advanced design patterns, and web services preferred.

• Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.

• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.

Top Three Technical Requirements:

• Working technical knowledge of Java, J2EE, advanced design patterns, and web services

• Demonstrated knowledge or experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

• Experienced in supporting and executing full SDLC, from initial requirements analysis and software design through test case development, implementation, and enhancements
