As a part of Ecommerce Engineering team, we exist for wow customer experiences, world class service excellence and hyper growing revenue. To achieve this, we build scalable & extensible architecture to support fast business growth & expansion, we create high performance & resilient backend system to handle increasing customer requests and we setup stable & fault-tolerant mechanisms to guarantee the customer experience. Creating disruptive products & resilient platforms for customers with world-class talents and cutting-edge technology is our vision and our commitment to the company.

[Key Responsibilities]

• Hands on engineering leader with deep understanding of open source stack and distributed systems

• Design layered application, drive the highest quality of architecture and design of purchase/logistic systems

• Align with PO and business to understand the problem and come out solution, and align with stakeholders and lead engineers on mission critical projects to resolve complex business problem

• Draw a roadmaps and vision for the scalable and robust growth of the merchant platform to support business growth

• Collaborate with other Coupang tech teams to make the service extensible to unlock opportunities for innovations

[Basic Qualifications]

• Excellent communication skills

• Good deep dive skills and someone who is bar raiser for engineering excellence

• At least 4+ years working experience on software design & development

• Good experience on distributed system and rich experience developing large scale enterprise

• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with frequent and on-time

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Document Return Policy

• This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
