Role Overview
We are building a production-grade GenAI platform focused on privacy, security, and
enterprise use cases.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and build high-performance backend systems
that power LLM inference, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based workflows all with strong guarantees around data protection and compliance.
This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, distributed systems, and applied
AI infrastructure.
What you will be working on
A next-generation AI platform used in real-world enterprise scenarios.
Systems that balance performance, safety, and privacy.
A fast-moving environment where research meets production engineering.
Responsibilities
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs (REST/gRPC) for AI-powered
applications.
Develop systems for LLM inference orchestration, including:
○ Query processing pipelines
○ Context enrichment (e.g., retrieval, memory, tools)
Implement runtime safety and validation layers:
○ Input/output filtering
○ Policy enforcement
○ Abuse and injection detection
Build and optimize model serving integrations for high-throughput, low-latency
inference.
Develop data pipelines and storage systems for logs, metadata, and auditability.
Work closely with ML engineers to productionize research into reliable services.
Contribute to system reliability, observability, and performance optimization
You
Core Engineering
5–10+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
Experience designing scalable APIs and microservices.
Systems & Infrastructure
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
Strong understanding of system design, reliability, and performance trade-offs.
AI / Data Systems (Preferred) Experience working with:
LLM-based systems
RAG pipelines or search systems
High-throughput inference services
Security & Reliability
Experience designing secure systems (auth, access control, data protection).
Understanding of multi-tenant systems and isolation.
Nice to Have
Experience with LLM serving frameworks.
Familiarity with real-time or event-driven architectures.
Exposure to privacy-preserving or compliance-driven systems.
Experience building developer platforms or APIs.
