As a Senior Backend Developer at MyHeritage, you’ll leverage the latest backend technologies and grow your skills designing, implementing, and finding solutions for the server side of our platform.

What you bring

• B.Sc. in computer science or software engineering

• 6+ years of experience in server-side development

• Extensive knowledge in OOD, architectural and design patterns

• Self-directed, ambitious, team player, and a strong communicator

• Experienced with: NoSQL/Relational databases

• Experience in AWS or other cloud based environment

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture

• Experienced with large scale environments

• Experience with Spark / Big Data technologies - advantage

• Experience with batch / stream processing - advantage

What else

• Continuous integration and deployment

• Experienced with large scale performance challenges

• Good understanding of Agile concepts
