Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer

Devsinc is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in Python, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks. The ideal candidate will thrive in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks), excel at designing innovative AI solutions, and demonstrate technical leadership, effective communication, and ownership of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle.

Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML engineering with proven experience building and deploying production-grade solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in CS, AI/ML or related discipline is a plus but not mandatory.
Programming: Active coder, proficient in Python 3.x, strong OOP skills, and familiarity with modern Python features.
Core AI/ML Knowledge: Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
Preferred: Experience with LangChain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), knowledge graphs, multi-agent AI systems, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure AI and ML applications using Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud services.
• Architect, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to power AI-driven features, enhancing user interaction and business value.
• Integrate third-party AI/ML APIs and services into existing web and enterprise applications.
• Champion a data-driven culture, ensuring consistent delivery of high-impact AI enhancements.
• Lead LLM use cases (open-source, fine-tuned, customized) across NLP tasks such as summarization, writing assistance, knowledge extraction, and conversational AI.
• Drive innovation in Generative AI and Agentic AI systems to enable autonomous task execution, reasoning, and decision-making.
• Lead and participate in NLP and Computer Vision initiatives, mentoring team members and fostering collaboration.
• Own the complete ML lifecycle: data preprocessing, model design, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.
• Provide clear technical communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
• Actively troubleshoot, debug, and optimize models and systems for production-grade reliability and performance.

Core Expertise:

• NLP & CV with hands-on experience in Transformer-based models.
• Strong knowledge of libraries: numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.
• Proven ability to fine-tune and deploy LLMs for real-world applications.
• Expertise in Generative AI and emerging Agentic AI frameworks.

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Skilled with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Databricks (Lambda/Serverless, S3, SQS, SNS, EC2).
• Proficiency in Docker, container orchestration, and microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging platforms.

Software Engineering:

• Familiarity with design principles: SOLID, Dependency Injection, Service Containers.
• Experience in Django/Flask web frameworks.
• Strong version control, code review, and repo management with Git.

Testing & Monitoring:

• Skilled in ML testing methodologies (unit, integration, performance, load testing).
• Knowledge of data visualization, monitoring, and alerting tools.

Databases:

• Strong SQL and ORM knowledge (SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex challenges into practical AI solutions.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
