Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Accountant (f/m/d) with a keen eye for detail to join us in our the next phase of growth. This role is crucial to support in all group`s financial activities in a dynamic environment, working closely with the Director of Finance. We are seeking someone who is passionate about finance, continuous optimization and hands-on problem solving. In your role as Senior Accountant you will support the Finance Team and have many development opportunities.

What to expect:
In this role, you will:• Manage the full accounting cycle for assigned legal entities, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger within the ERP system NetSuite.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Contact person for external contacts (e.g. banks, tax advisor, auditor and authorities)
• Oversee intercompany relationships, prepare intercompany invoices, and ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies.
• Contribute to group consolidation activities and support the transition from German GAAP to IFRS as the Maltego Group’s primary accounting standard.
• Drive process optimization and automation in NetSuite (GL, fixed assets, AP/AR), including workflow enhancements and integration of pre-accounting and expense tools (e.g., Payhawk).
• Support the growth of a multi-entity, global organization, ensuring scalable and compliant finance processes.

Your profile in short:
• Certified accountant, tax clerk or Bachelor`s Degree in accounting / finance  
• 5+ years of experience in accounting / finance
• Solid knowledge of accounting / financial principles, including German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS standards
• Team-oriented with a "can do" attitude and flexibility
• High commitment to quality work, ethics, integrity, and compliance
• Interested in digitalization and automation
