Job Description

Functional / Operational tasks:

The SCADA junior engineer will report to a senior Scada engineer 

• Development of the control strategies, write PLC/DCS code (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Blocks), design HMI/SCADA interfaces, and specify hardware.

• Implementation & Commissioning: Install, test, and start-up new control systems and upgrades.

• Optimization: Analyze process data, use simulation, and implement advanced controls to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware (sensors, actuators, networks) and software.

• Collaboration: Work with electrical, mechanical, planning and operations teams.

• Documentation: Develop functional descriptions, procedures, and maintenance guides.

Education: Education & training required: 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering systems.

• Programming: Knowledge in PLC programming languages (Ladder, FBD, ST) and HMI/SCADA software.

• Hardware: Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus), instrumentation, and field devices.

• Understanding of control theory, automation, and real-time systems.

• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, project management, and ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Fresh graduate
