Role Description

As a Software Engineer in Salesforce BT, you will be part of a software engineering team that delivers customer success functionality built on a Salesforce Service Cloud implementation. You will work with the team of software engineers, product managers, and architects responsible for feature development and application maintenance responsive to the needs of a highly sophisticated and global customer success organization.

You will help to ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality.  This includes taking part in the design, planning, and enhancement of automation frameworks, utilities and tools.  You should deliver solutions others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects. You are aware of trends and technical developments in the industry, and how those can be applied in your work; and have a point of view on the delivery approach for very complex or foundational features. You have the demonstrated ability to anticipate technology lifecycle issues, work with projects involving multiple systems, and influence the team to deliver durable, extensible solutions.

This role requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio.

• Build applications on Salesforce platform
• Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party applications
• Participate in product and feature design with product team and business partners
• Design applications based on common design patterns and best practice algorithms
• Plan, design, and enhance automation framework, utilities and tools
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews
• Work with engineers, business analysts and product owners for product delivery
• Ensure product quality meets customer expectations

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience programming with Java, Apex, other OOP language
• Experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components
• General experience with Salesforce platform
• Knowledge of Agentforce AI Agent Extensive experience implementing complex technical projects
• Extensive experience with HTML and CSS
• Extensive experience with JavaScript
• Expertise in design of complex data models and relational database languages
• Experience with web services integration through SOAP or REST
• Proven ability to lead and influence the design approach to new applications and features
• Understanding of various user based security models
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
• A related technical degree required
