Job Description

Kahoot! is seeking a Sales Executive focused on SMEs to join our dedicated sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth in your area of responsibility, specifically the DACH markets. You will offer engaging learning solutions that inspire and elevate the learning experience in companies across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact and proactive outreach to closing the deals and post-sale account expansions.
• Identify, engage, and convert prospects through phone calls, emails, and responding to inbound inquiries, dedicating approximately one-third of your time to outbound hunting.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers to uncover opportunities for larger enterprise agreements and migrations.
• Drive a consistent daily ‘sales rhythm’ centered on delivering high-impact product demos and performing deep discovery to understand broader organizational goals.
• Build and maintain a structured pipeline through account management and outbound initiatives that create revenue quarter over quarter.
• Utilize HubSpot (CRM) to manage and record all account activity, ensuring it is enriched with commercial information and accurate quotations.
• Provide regular business pipeline reports and forecasting of upcoming expected business on a weekly basis.
• Be the subject matter expert in presenting the value of corporate communication and L&D to ensure high business outcomes for the customers.
• Work closely together with our Customer Success, Presales, and Product teams to define business objectives and use cases.
• Contribute to a culture where team members support each other, ensuring we reach our overall goals while following all team processes and administrative procedures.

Requirements:
• 1-3+ years of commercial experience with a strong business understanding (SaaS experience preferred).
• Proven track record of developing and driving B2B sales. A background as an SDR or BDR is highly valued.
• Strong cold-calling ability and the ‘grit’ to move things along in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, plus professional fluency in German (for DACH).
• Team player mindset with the ability to navigate complex sales environments and articulate business value.
• Alignment with our Commercial Mantras: Professionalism, Pro-Activity, Sense of Urgency, Trust, Accountability, Collaboration, and Prioritization.

• Previous closing experience is a plus, but not required if you have strong SDR foundations and a proven ‘hustle’.
