Who will you be working with? 
Dellner, a Wabtec company, is an industry leader in the design, manufacture and service of Train Connection Systems for trainbuilders and rail operators worldwide, contributing to the industry’s most advanced train connection and safety technologies.
With over 60 years of expertise in energy absorption technology, Dellner Dampers has established itself as one of the main players in the field, delivering advanced solutions for the rail industry while also serving the industrial sector.
In rail applications, Dellner Dampers supplies key components of the Dellner Crash Energy Management (CEM) system, including honeycombs, anticlimbers, yaw and intercar dampers. These elements are crucial for enhancing train safety, resilience, and protection in both operational and crash scenarios.

What will your typical day look like?
Support the Area Sales Manager(s) and subsidiary(ies) with technical sales support
• Technical sales of spare parts and repairs; Assist workshop technicians with assessment of repairs and overhauls
• Technical preparation of sales projects and overhauls.
• Support the Area Sales Managers(s) with various market related technical support tasks
• Customer Relations Technical Staff.
• Maintain close dialogue with Global Support Team respectively relevant subsidiaries
• Process compliance and continuous improvements
• Internal Training: Support and train other sales engineers in our processes and tools
What do we want to know about you?
• Relevant BSc degree in engineering; Advantageous- we would also consider candidates with experience in a similar role, with no formal qualifications 
• Mechanical / Electrical Engineer, preferably from manufacturing industry
• Ability to understand customer needs; communicate, train, resolve issues and build relationships
• Preferably knowledge of 3D CAD, specifically Autodesk Inventor/Vault
• Hands-on workshop experience such as service technician
• Well-developed technical understanding
• Fluent in spoken and written English
