⭐ Our team

Monzo Europe is an Irish-based subsidiary of the Monzo Group which will, upon authorisation, be the base for Monzo’s expansion as a bank into the European Union. We are building a new and exciting financial institution focused on providing innovative and customer-centric banking services across the EU.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Risk Reporting and Analytics Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Management team. This role is critical in supporting the digital bank’s risk oversight by delivering high-quality risk reporting, insightful analytics, and decision-support metrics across the risk taxonomy. You will help drive data-led risk intelligence, enhance the effectiveness of the risk framework, and support risk governance at all levels of the organisation. This role reports to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management, Monzo Europe.

🔑 You’ll play a key role by...

• Designing and maintaining regular and ad-hoc risk reports for exec and board audiences, ensuring they’re clear, reliable, and delivered on time;

• Working hands-on with complex banking risk data to spot risk trends, emerging issues, and share valuable management insights;

• Creating clear, engaging dashboards and visuals that bring risk information to life to diverse audiences;

• Supporting the rollout of risk appetite monitoring and related reporting tools;

• Driving automation and visualisation to make risk reporting more efficient and impactful;

• Supporting regulatory and internal audit reviews with accurate data and clear evidence of effective risk management.

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if…

• You have a proven track record of using SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and simple predictive modelling;

• You have hands-on experience in risk analytics and reporting, ideally in a regulated financial environment;

• You’re comfortable working with large and complex datasets, with strong analytical and data-modelling skills;

• You excel at turning complex information into clear, engaging visuals and insights for different audiences;

• You bring a good understanding of key risk types from credit, operational to financial crime;

• You’re detail-oriented, communicate clearly, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Not ticking every box? That’s totally okay! Studies show that women and people of colour might hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. At Monzo, we’re dedicated to creating a diverse and welcoming team. If you’re passionate about this role and keen to learn and grow with us, we encourage you to apply— even if you don’t have everything that's listed just yet. Drop us your application, we’d love to hear from you!
