Job Description
The ESC is currently looking for a Registration officer (event position) for a permanent contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France.
Major duties and responsibilities:
Deliver registration from A to Z across a selection of congresses, exams and courses across the organisation’s portfolio of onsite, online and hybrid events.
Involved in the operational delivery of the registration process from end to end. From booking system set-up and testing, pre-event planning, though to client relationship building, customer-facing delivery online and onsite, and final closing and reporting with improvement feedback loop.
In details:
· Support participants, and agencies and organisations representing them, with registration in order to meet registration targets, whilst providing a professional and customer focused image of the ESC
· Manage, administer and control event attendee registrations in order support delivery of the event
· Improve system and processes, in order to ensure a quick, easy and intuitive booking journey for the customer with accurate and compliant registrations
Profile:
Hard skills:
· Bac +2 / 3 in Events Management - tourism administrative sector, Business, Sales, Marketing
· Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Hotel reception/reservations/Travel Agency, Destination Management Company (DMC), Event Management/ Customer Service
· Languages: Excellent level of English (spoken and written)
· Confortable working in French,
· Spanish and other languages are an asset
· Comfortable with figures (for reporting and order management)
· Comfortable with IT systems (Email, Case Management System (e.g. Salesforce), spreadsheets (Excel) , MS Word, websites)
· Interest in the healthcare and medical congresses sector
· Available to travel (sometimes weekends and end of August)

· Ability to work with deadlines and prioritise tasks
· Good listener
· Excellent communicator and Team Player
· Comfortable facing the public (comfortable communicating externally, sometimes dealing with unhappy customers)

Conditions:
- Non-Executive status,
- 37h30/week + RTT days
- Fixed salary + 13th month and vacation bonus (1%)
