We are seeking a Quantitative Investment Data Analyst to support the Investment Research, Performance Reporting, and Investment Operations teams. The Investment Research group creates qualitative and quantitative analysis and conducts vigorous due diligence efforts. The Performance Reporting and Investment Operations team prepares performance reports for institutional clients, manages cash movement and supports operational functions.
Responsibilities include implementing and enhancing internal data, workflow, and knowledge systems. The Data Analyst will work closely with team leaders to improve and automate processes within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Support data migration, organization, and ongoing system maintenance
Work with the team members to identify inefficiencies and to implement improvements
Document the new procedures. Train others to use, maintain and revise them
Assist in building AI-enabled workflows and internal tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, knowledge retrieval, internal agents) (Power Automate, scripting, APIs)
Implement and maintain structured document and knowledge systems within SharePoint / Microsoft 365
Assist in the preparation of research materials and internal analyses
Requirements
Training and experience in both data science and finance/investments
A master's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Financial Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics) is preferred
2+ years of relevant experience in investment research and data analysis
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with team members, while also to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment
Exposure to automation, scripting, or APIs (e.g., Python, Power Automate)
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
