Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a highly motivated QA Tester who is passionate about quality, deeply curious, and eager to ensure that our partners’ products—especially games—perform flawlessly on our platform. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining the trust of our users and partners by setting standards, proactively anticipating issues, and owning the quality of experiences across a wide range of environments.

This is a remote contract position that will likely start as a 3-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Validate Partner Products: Test and verify that our partners’ games and experiences function seamlessly across various environments—devices, operating systems, browsers, regions, locales, and network conditions.
• Set QA Standards: Create, maintain, and evolve checklists and test plans for key workflows such as sales demos, public launches, and partner onboarding.
• Think Ahead: Design test cases that simulate diverse customer environments and behaviors, staying one step ahead of real-world issues.
• Manual Testing: Execute exploratory, smoke, sanity, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Functional & Non-Functional Testing: Ensure features not only work, but perform well under real-world conditions.
• Own the Output: Deliver clear, actionable QA reports and documentation to guide teams and inform decisions.

Requirements:
• 1–2 years of experience in QA or software testing roles
• Strong understanding of manual testing practices, techniques, and tools
• Experience testing across platforms (web, mobile, desktop) and environments
• Familiarity with writing and maintaining QA documentation and test cases
• A proactive mindset—constantly looking to improve coverage and identify edge cases
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Nice-to-have: Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Nice-to-have: Experience with games
