Job Description

• Role Overview: As a QA Tester at Octal Philippines Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will design, implement, and execute test cases, debug and report issues, and collaborate with development teams to enhance product quality.
• Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive test plans, perform functional and regression testing, and participate in sprint planning sessions to identify potential risks related to quality.

Requirements:
• Key Strengths

• Negative Testing: Specialist in "Edge Case" scenarios (e.g., insufficient funds, expired tokens, and network timeouts).
• Journey Mapping: Ability to audit complex user flows from initial onboarding to final reporting.
• Problem Solving: Skilled at identifying logic gaps in backend integrations and high-stakes financial data.
• Profile: A detail-oriented contractor capable of delivering immediate impact in a fast-paced, 3-month engagement.

• Technical Skills

• API Testing: Expertise in validating RESTful APIs using Postman and RestAssured.
• Automation: 3+ years of experience building and executing end-to-end manual and automated test suites.
• Fintech Domain: Deep understanding of transactional integrity, high-concurrency environments, and KYC/Settlement workflows.
