✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

At least 5 years of proven experience in QA roles
Solid experience documenting test cases with Xray
Strong skills in SQL queries on PostgreSQL databases
At least 3 years of experience testing REST APIs (Swagger contracts, Postman or similar tools)
At least 2 years of experience in integration testing with Apache Kafka
Hands-on experience using browser developer tools (Chrome and Safari inspectors)
At least 3 years of experience in E2E test automation with Playwright or another Selenium-based framework
Knowledge and practical use of Git and GitHub Flow
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and JIRA
Experience in continuous delivery: merge requests, code review with approvals, and continuous deployment pipelines
Spanish fluency and English nice to have

Nice to have / Optional:
ISTQB or similar testing certification
Experience with Oracle and MongoDB databases (queries and validation)
Experience in mobile app test automation with Maestro
Experience executing load/stress tests with K6
Knowledge of local environment configuration for testing Spring Boot microservices and their dependencies
Experience managing Docker containers and “ephemeral dependencies” with tools such as Okteto or TestContainers

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans for web and API-based applications
Document test cases and results in Xray, ensuring full traceability of requirements and defects
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across different components and services
Validate and test REST APIs using Swagger contracts, Postman, or similar tools
Execute and monitor integration tests with Apache Kafka, ensuring correct message flows and data consistency
Use browser developer tools (Chrome/Safari) to analyze network calls, console logs, and UI issues
Develop, maintain, and improve E2E automated test suites with Playwright or Selenium-based frameworks
Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile (Scrum) environment
Participate in code reviews, contribute to quality best practices, and support continuous improvement of QA processes
Work within CI/CD pipelines, contributing to continuous delivery and deployment of new features
(Optional, depending on your background) Support performance testing with K6 and mobile test automation with Maestro
