Lauren Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer- Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in both Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering. This role requires excellent communication skills, a technical mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Oversee the successful delivery of projects, including station installations, analyzer integrations, telemetry systems, automation upgrades, and MOV (Motor Operated Valve) installations.

Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure that project requirements are met, and timelines are adhered to.

Specialized Systems Implementation: Manage projects focused on cathodic protection (CP) systems, generator installations for rectifiers, MCC upgrades, Arc Flash Studies, relay replacements, UPS upgrades, switchgear, and control panel installations.

Peer Reviews and Support: Assist with drawing stamping (a nice-to-have skill) and provide support in peer reviews to ensure all technical standards are met.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

Qualifications:

Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), with hands-on involvement in project management and engineering.

Industry Background: Proven experience working within Oil & Gas, Consulting, or other related industries.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Instrumentation, Electrical, and Control Systems design and implementation.

Experience with Analyzer installations, telemetry systems, and automation of existing sites.

Knowledge of MOV installations, MCC upgrades, Arc Flash Studies, and switchgear.

Familiarity with cathodic protection and generator installations.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.

Certifications: P.Eng
