The Role

At Veeva Link, we're building the intelligence layer for life sciences, creating connected data applications that accelerate drug development and significantly improve patient outcomes. Our core belief: combining the highest quality data with state-of-the-art software delivers immense value.
In your role as the Product Manager for Matching, you will find the best ways to connect data points. For example connecting a person to their medical and digital activities.
If you like the combination of product thinking, working with large amounts of data, and squeezing every ounce of precision and recall out of the algorithms, this will be the best thing since Self-Attention.
This is key data that builds valuable connections between people in life science and for Veeva's products. Your success here will directly influence the success of our customers.
You will collaborate with our data engineering, data product, and data operations teams.
You will make sure our data is high quality and the production tools enable efficient execution. Product excellence is your main goal.

What You’ll Do

Your role is integral to delivering great data to our customers.
You directly contribute to a range of products that your data will be built on.
Manage the backlog for your engineering team
Innovate using AI for automation, with full automation as a vision
Design and evaluate success metrics such as quality, stability and efficiency
Make sure your features are implemented in production and working

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience
5+ successful track record in Software Product Management
Experience collaborating with data engineering and software engineering
Ability to drill into processes of data curation and data quality metrics
Fast learner, team first and work ethic
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer science or engineering background
Located in Germany

Work Anywhere means you can work in an office or at home on any given day. It’s about getting the work done in the way and place that works best for each person. This applies across all locations and departments.

Product teams are organized in regional product hubs for optimal collaboration and live within a time zone of their hub. Our current product hubs are located in Pleasanton, Columbus, Boston, Kansas City, New York City, Raleigh, and Toronto. We create opportunities for teams to get together in person regularly.

Customer-facing roles, such as Sales and Professional Services, live near and/or travel to their customers.
