Role Summary:

As a Procurement Intern, you’ll support the team with day-to-day purchasing tasks, asset tracking, and general admin. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn how procurement works in a real business environment.

You’ll get exposure to working with suppliers, managing company assets, and supporting the full procurement process, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and building your understanding of how everything fits together.

Key Responsibilities: (while assisting Procurement Specialist)

· Handling day-to-day procurement tasks and learning how the process works

· Creating and processing purchase orders

· Keeping track of orders and following up with suppliers

· Making sure all procurement records (POs, invoices, delivery notes) are accurate and up to date

· Supporting the maintenance of the asset register (keeping track of company equipment)

· Onboarding and offboarding (getting equipment ready for new starters and checking returned items from leavers)

· Completing stock checks, inventory tracking, and basic audits

· Conducting basic reports on procurement and assets

Requirements:

· Pay attention to detail and strong organization skills

· Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

· Basic 0365 knowledge (Excel and Outlook)

· Willingness to learn and take initiative

· Able to multi-task and meet deadlines

· An interest in procurement, supply chain, or business operations

Expected Outputs / Deliverables:

· You’re actively learning and asking questions when you’re unsure

· Becoming more confident in handling procurement tasks and systems over time

· By around 6 months, you’re able to manage and process tickets with minimal supervision

· Keeping records accurate and up to date

· Start contributing ideas to improve processes and workflows

Performance Expectations:

· Supporting procurement requests and completing tasks within agreed timeframes

· Helping maintain accurate assets and inventory records

· Following up on orders to help ensure timely delivery

· Communicating clearly and professionally with suppliers and internal teams

· Keeping all procurement documents complete and well organized

· Following company processes and policies

Preferred Certifications & Accreditations:

We’re open to candidates from different backgrounds, but it would be beneficial if you are:

· Currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field

· Interested in or working towards certifications in Asset Management or Microsoft Excel
