Our Customer is a U.S.-based company that is shaping the future of the domain industry. Their mission is to deliver unparalleled customer experiences and ensure secure online identities. Since 2000, they have operated over 20 top-level domains (TLDs), including popular ones like .com, .net, .org, .xyz, .inc, .tv, and more. 

PROJECT

The project aims to revolutionize the domain industry by seamlessly connecting Web1 and Web3. The business value lies in providing secure, decentralized identities through tokenized, compliant domains. This solves the problem of ensuring accessibility and security in the digital world. 

The solution is in a highly active development stage, resembling the fast-paced nature typical of startup environments. 

• Collaborate with the product team to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications and features 
• Lead the research, design, implementation, deployment and monitoring of the D3 protocol, which enables the tokenization of domains as real world assets (RWAs) on the Solana blockchain 
• Research, implement and maintain Solana programs to enable “DomainFi” applications across the Solana ecosystem. This includes tokenization, name resolution, secondary trading, and lending/borrowing 
• Implement Back-end services to interface with the Solana blockchain and traditional DNS Registry/Registrar infrastructure 
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the protocol and application 
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging 
• Maintain and optimize the performance of the existing codebase, addressing any bugs or issues that arise 
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development, blockchain, and smart contract development 

• Strong passion for blockchain technologies and protocols 
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with the Solana blockchain, including smart contract development and deployment, blockchain bridges, oracles, indexers, decentralized finance, and NFT marketplaces 
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Back-end development using Node.js and MySQL/Postgres 
• At least 3 years of experience in blockchain development using Solidity or Rust, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, consensus algorithms, and storage subsystems 
• Familiarity with Git version control system and Agile methodologies 

WOULD BE A PLUS

• DevOps experience with Kubernetes, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, AWS, and Linux environments 
• Familiarity with NestJS and GraphQL 
• Have prior experience maintaining or creating blockchain oracles
