We are currently seeking a PMO Manager to work out of our Bangalore, India office. As the successful candidate, you willwork as part of a global team. We are looking for driven, motivated and well organized Project Management Officer (PMO) - Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
• Management of a portfolio of projects
• Implementation of a Portfolio Management software
• Resource Management
• Implement, support and interface for an internal management reporting framework to effectively accomplish project goals.
• Responsible for on/in-time submission of PMO deliverables.
• Managing a team of project controllers/planners which handles entire project lifecycles: This includes project scoping, planning, budgeting, monitoring, tracking, progress reporting, resource management/resource allocation and summary of costs incurred.
• Set up and manage project support functions covering planning, tracking, reporting, and internal communication.
• Maintain and update project plans, resource availability records, milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits.
• Coordinating with Project Managers from different geographical locations on a regular basis to facilitate the PMO functions.
• Should be able to identify the key performance indicators for reporting and alerting.
• Identify avenues to automate PMO processes and implement them with suitable technology tools.
• Besides developing and maintaining plans, the PMO office should communicate and track risk issues associated with planned and committed dates. As part of the planning process, the PMO should also monitor critical resource levels across functional areas required to support projects.
• The PMO should schedule meetings with various teams to collect and communicate project status - operations, data quality, and change management.
• Coordinate with the finance controllers/account administrators to ensure project invoices are accurately prepared and timely submitted.
• Analyze and synthesize key project information for Project Managers.
• Provide guidance and support to facilitate the accurate set-up, performance and reporting of projects.
• Complete Work Breakdown Structure to estimate effort required for each task.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Hands on experience in implementation of portfolio project.
• Should be able to manage the team
• Familiarity with S-Curve concept as a tool for monitoring project progress
• Proficient in MS Project and Excel.
• Manage the Project documentation repositories.
BE / B.Tech in Industrial / Chemical / Mechanical or any other relevant engineering
