Job Description

As Platform Management Coordinator you will supervise a crucial pillar within Human Pharma Services (HPS) team.

The role will coordinate a squad of platform owners whose responsibility is to manage the platforms used within the HPS team. These platforms support the customer journey services that the HPS team delivers.

The squad serves as bridge function between business demands and IT implementation and coordinate the intake, assessment, prioritization, implementation and testing of platform related demands. It furthermore will be responsible for the day-to-day management and governance of platforms within the strategic parameters defined by the business. This also includes supporting data and integration topics. The role and the squad will collaborate with the service owners and also interface with IT and Data & Analytics to ensure full functionality and adherence to data standards.

The role requires strong technical understanding, good understanding of business processes and requirements, project and process management skills and the ability to coordinate services delivered by external Subject Matter Experts.

Tasks and responsibilities

Supervise the execution of services delivered by a squad of external subject matter platform experts
Make sure that the platforms in scope at global scale are being properly managed, maintained and improved within the guardrails agreed with internal stakeholders. This includes budget and resources planning.
Define adoption requirements to ensure standardization and global scalability.
Establish a blueprint for documentation and a framework for all platform managers and data specialists to work within.
Support the continuous improvement of transitioned platforms based on internal customer needs and demands.
Serve as first point of escalation and consult with the respective team leads how to resolve the potential conflicts about demands or concerns about scalability.
Collaborate with IT, Data & Analytics and Sourcing to ensure platforms and systems meet business needs as defined by our global stakeholders.
Establish connections, touchpoints and ways of working that foster collaboration with the counterparts in each business area we interact with.
Collaborate on any AI or automation topics as many use cases will integrate with the platforms or have connectivity to them. Furthermore, you will help ensure that automation and AI are considered in the teams ways of working and implemented in the platform and service landscape where fit for purpose.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. Master degree highly preferred
Proven experience in managing pharmaceutical business processes and platforms
Experienced project management, planning & reporting background
Relevant experience in omnichannel excellence and customer-facing excellence areas
Solid understanding of enterprise data modeling, data warehouses and optimally AI enabled business process improvement
Solid understanding of Process Mapping and Service Designs
Solid understanding of data governance, modeling and integration
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and international environment
Ability to solve problems and manage escalations effectively and in a timely manner
Strong results orientation. Ability to plan and organize work. Dynamic mindset - ability to think critically and find creative solutions when faced with complex & ambiguous scenarios and issues
Strong project and change management skills and ability to manage complex projects.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Fluent in oral and written English
