Clark Wilson LLP is seeking a Paralegal to join our Corporate Services group. What You’ll Be Doing

conduct minute book reviews, identify deficiencies, and prepare rectification documents;

conduct due diligence searches;

general corporate matters involving BC and Federal companies, including changes in directors, officers, and shareholders, dividends, share transfers and redemptions;

extra-provincial registrations in BC and other Canadian provinces;

corporate transactions, including incorporations, reorganizations, continuations, amalgamations, and dissolutions;

prepare closing agendas and legal documents for large transactions; and

general administrative duties as required.

How You’ll Be a Great Fit for This Role

graduate of a recognized Paralegal program;

a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal working in a legal environment, particularly in the area of Corporate Records;

strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and BC Online;

excellent verbal and written communication skills;

excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

the ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and competing priorities;

a client-centered approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service;

the ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict deadlines;

dedicated to providing service beyond expectation; and

the ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion and confidentiality, and to adapt to changing demands.
