Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for scaling TelemetryX’s end-to-end operations across hardware, software, and 3PM (Third-Party Management) services. This role owns execution across supply chain, customer deployments, and service delivery while driving operational excellence, systems integration, and continuous improvement.  The Operations Manager will work closely with PRC to ensure alignment across leasing, telematics, and fleet management offerings. This role is expected to be highly tech-forward, supporting system buildout, automation initiatives, and the deployment of AI-driven workflows across operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Systems

Establish and drive a culture of operational excellence across hardware, service delivery, and 3PM execution.

Design and implement scalable processes, KPIs, and operating cadences to support rapid growth and track performance.

Lead CRM, ERP, data infrastructure, and operational system enhancements to improve visibility, automation, and decision-making.

Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate hardware, software, and data workflows into a unified operating model.

Identify and deploy automation and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance customer outcomes.

Collaborate in building AI-first operational workflows, including automation of reporting, service coordination, and fleet optimization.

Leverage data and analytics to drive operational decisions, performance improvements, and customer insights.

Manage supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and key operational partners to ensure timely delivery of hardware and services for successful customer implementation including forecasting, inventory, and returns.

Coordinate cross-functional execution between sales, engineering, finance, and customer success teams.

PRC Coordination

Serve as the primary operational liaison between TelemetryX and Pacific Rim Capital (PRC), ensuring alignment across leasing, telematics, and 3PM service delivery.

Coordinate cross-functional execution with PRC teams including finance, sales, asset management, and remarketing.

3PM

Support the execution and scaling of the 3PM (Third-Party Management) offering, including fleet lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and service performance.

Ensure operational processes support lifecycle discipline, including deployment, maintenance coordination, and end-of-life execution aligned with customer strategy.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or technical operations roles.

Experience operating in a technology-enabled or AI-forward environment preferred.

Experience building or scaling operational systems (CRM, ERP, workflow automation) strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in a high-growth environment.

Experience supporting integrated hardware, software, and service offerings is highly preferred.

Strong data orientation with ability to leverage analytics to drive decision-making and performance

Experience managing vendor relationships, contract manufacturers, or third-party logistics providers.

Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional operations involving sales, engineering, customer support, and finance.

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple operational initiatives simultaneously.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and external partners.

 

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $130,000-$180,000

Performance Bonus: Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 15%, bringing the total compensation range to $149,500 - $207,000.

Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with an Employee Assistance Program and 401(k) plan with company match, available for full-time employees.

Paid Time Off: Accrue three weeks of PTO annually.
