Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
In your role as the Nyx Earth System Engineer intern, your day to day duties will include:
• Support the Chief Engineering office with Requirements and Verification Management
• Introducing usage of new tools to the team, user testing, documentation
• Support in collecting and managing verification evidence
• Implement Python automation in our MBSE tool to facilitate the tracking of the requirement flowdown and traceability.
• Improve the post-processing and visualization of requirement(and other) data on Metabase and Space Vault
• Support in Docking Camera and External Lights Subsystem Management
• Perform Light Position and Intensity Analyses
• Camera Test preparation and execution activities
• Managing the interfaces and keeping them up to date
• Datapack preparation for tests and design reviews
