NetSuite Developer - Internal Development Team

We are looking for a skilled NetSuite Developer to join the Internal Development Team. In this role, you will design, customize, and maintain NetSuite solutions to support business operations and ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems.
You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams to build efficient, automated workflows, improve data consistency, and enhance visibility across capital.com’s systems.

Responsibilities::
• Design, develop, and deploy custom scripts and workflows in NetSuite.
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other internal or third-party systems.
• Customise forms, fields, dashboards, and reports to align with business needs.
• Implement automation for recurring accounting, reconciliation, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain data integrity across modules, ensuring synchronisation with external systems.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions for NetSuite related projects.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing NetSuite configurations and scripts.

• Stay current with NetSuite releases and recommend improvements or new functionalities.

Requirements::
• 3-5+ years of experience developing and customising in NetSuite.
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience building and maintaining SuiteTalk, RESTlet, or web service integrations. 

• Solid understanding of NetSuite modules.
• Hands-on experience with custom records, workflows, saved searches, and reports.
• Understanding of data mapping, transformation, and synchronisation across systems.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and business teams.


Preferred:
• Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
• Familiarity with NetSuite integration middleware or custom connectors
• Knowledge of financial and operational processes within fintech or regulated environments.
• Exposure to AWS, REST API development, or serverless functions for integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for NetSuite deployment automation.
• Understanding of security best practices, including access control, data privacy, and compliance.
• Experience with other programming languages or platforms (e.g., JavaScript, Python) to support integration, automation, or backend development.
• Ability to adapt to various technology stacks and contribute to internal tool development beyond NetSuite when needed.
