Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer with a focus on automation and integrations to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining network monitoring, automation workflows, integrations with third-party systems and platforms, deployment and support of network monitoring and packet analysis solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support network monitoring and observability solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows to reduce manual operational tasks
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for networking to test, validate, and deploy network changes automatically.
• Integrate network infrastructure and monitoring systems with third-party platforms via APIs.
• Work with network visibility and packet analysis solutions (e.g., network probes such as Netscout or similar).
• Support network traffic analysis, troubleshooting, and performance investigations.
• Use observability tools for continuous monitoring to proactively identify, analyze, and remediate network issues.
• Manage and maintain network source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox.
• Integrate systems with CMDB, ITSM, and inventory platforms.
• Support customer and internal infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation, integration, and monitoring capabilities.

Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Automation roles
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, SNMP, ICMP, DNS
• Experience with scripting or automation: Python (preferred) or Bash
• Experience working with APIs (REST APIs, JSON)
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with network packet brokers, probes, or packet analysis tools (e.g., Netscout, Keysight, or similar) is a plus
• Experience with NetBox or similar IPAM / DCIM / Source-of-Truth platforms is a plus
• Experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) will be considered a strong asset
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible is preferred
• Experience integrating systems with: ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.), CMDB systems, Inventory systems is an asset
• Basic knowledge of Git is a plus
