THE ROLE

Join the Fusion Product Team to engineer an industry-first self-service, autonomous storage platform that redefines the Modern Data Experience for our customers. You will drive the design and implementation of core, resilient distributed control systems, enabling customers to manage storage as a flexible, pooled resource across our entire product portfolio. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the foundational architecture of a category-defining product, collaborating closely with product management and engineering leaders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•
Architect and implement resilient, distributed control systems and scalable transactional processing engines that underpin the Fusion platform's autonomy and self-service capabilities.

•
Lead the development of declarative/intent-based policy management engines, ensuring seamless integration across FlashArray, FlashBlade, and Pure1 to deliver a unified customer experience.

•
Drive key service delivery and automation capabilities for defining and delivering storage platforms, translating product vision into highly reliable and performant software components.

•
Define and build robust API libraries and the business logic layer, enabling developers and internal teams to provision, consume, and manage storage resources with maximum efficiency and clarity.

•
Contribute as an early team member to critical architectural decisions and codebase development, directly influencing the product's direction and technical excellence from concept to GA.

WHAT YOU BRING

•
Deep expertise in software product lifecycle from early concept and product definition through MVP, GA, and mature product support, demonstrating a track record of shipping high-quality enterprise software.

•
Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or C++, coupled with an excellent foundation in data structures, algorithms, and complex software design.

•
Proven ability to architect and design distributed systems, scalable platforms, and microservices, with a strong focus on high availability, consistency, and performance.

•
Demonstrated experience in API creation, design, and implementation, specifically developing robust business logic layers and external-facing developer interfaces.

•
Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively partner with cross-functional peers, technical leads, and product managers to drive solutions from initial design through to successful production deployment.

•
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru, India office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
