Molecular Biologist (Cell Gene Therapy)

• Perform mammalian cell culture passaging/ splitting, continuous maintenance, & cell counting
• Utilize expertise with molecular biology techniques (dPCR, qPCR, nucleic acid extractions, taqman assay design)
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks & GMP complaint record keeping
• Work on new method development as well as optimize existing methods
• Successful candidates are adaptable/flexible to dynamic method development settings, to accommodate quick changes in protocols

Minimum Requirements:

• Masters degree in Molecular Biology or related scientific concentration with at least 3 years of industry experience, a PhD is preferred 
• Accurate pipetting is required
• Must have demonstrated experience/expertise with molecular biology techniques such as dPCR, qPCR, nucleic acid extractions, taqman assay design
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation (automated extraction platforms like Kingfisher, automated liquid handling) is a plus
• Experience with performing Sanger sequencing and NGS is a plus
• Cell and gene therapy experience
• Experience with electronic lab notebook strongly preferred, as is experience or working familiarity with GxP documentation practices

This position is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off shift hours as dependent on project. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Malvern, PA are encouraged to apply.
