Managing Director of Client Accounting and CFO Advisory Services

As the Managing Director of our Client Accounting & CFO Advisory team, you will lead our outsourced or client accounting services and CFO advisory practice, drive operational excellence and expand our impact in the Architectural and Engineering (AE) Industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll guide multiple teams that leverage Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint and Ajera to deliver exceptional client financial solutions and experiences. Your leadership will be key to scaling the practice, optimizing processes, and strengthening key client relationships.

What you’ll do at SN:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Client Accounting and CFO Advisory Services practices aligned with SN’s growth objectives.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing teams of accounting professionals specializing in Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint and Ajera.

• Oversee the delivery of outsourced accounting, financial reporting, and CFO advisory services, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.

• Drive scalability by strengthening on and offshore delivery teams, improving processes, identifying new service opportunities, and expanding market presence in AE industry.

• Leverage automation, AI tools, and ERP platforms to enhance service delivery and generate actionable client insights. Establish KPIs, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

What you may have done before:

• Scaled accounting operations within a professional services or CPA firm.

• Worked extensively with ERP platforms like Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint or Ajera in a client-facing role.

• Held senior leadership roles in outsourced/client accounting or finance, guiding strategic decisions for a growing outsourced/client accounting team.

What it takes to be a Managing Director of Client Accounting and CFO Advisory Services:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in outsourced client accounting or CFO advisory, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity leading scalability

• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver strategic financial guidance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong familiarity with Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint, or Ajera.

• Deep understanding of AE industry challenges and opportunities.

• CPA and/or MBA, a plus.

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $175,000 - $225,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
