Role Summary and Impact
As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Manager -AA, based out of Gurgaon who will:
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of Campaign Analysts, Data Scientists, and Senior Engineers, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation within the offshore hub.
• Provide comprehensive technical oversight, mentorship, and career development guidance to junior team members, enhancing their capabilities and fostering a structured growth path.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Canadian market leads and stakeholders, effectively translating business requirements into technical specifications and strategic reporting/analytics initiatives.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and machine learning solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Drive the implementation and adherence to automation, CI/CD, and MLOps best practices across all team projects.
• Ensure the effective utilization and optimization of cloud platforms, including Azure Synapse and AWS, for data processing and machine learning deployments.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs, adherence to timelines, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in reporting, advanced analytics, and engineering workflows.
Skills and Experience:
If this opportunity looks right for you, we are looking for candidates who have:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ML engineering, or a similar technical leadership role, with at least 2-3 years in a management or team lead capacity.
• Professional, post-secondary education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS), big data technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Spark, Databricks), and ML tools.
• Proficiency with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, and/or Looker) is a significant asset.
• Proven leadership and team management experience, specifically within an offshore or distributed technical team environment.
• Strong foundation in data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, the model deployment lifecycle (MLOps), and advanced statistical analysis.
• Expertise in implementing automation, CI/CD, and MLOps best practices.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights for diverse audiences.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect technical solutions to broader business objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative team environment and drive career progression for junior members.
