One of our Fortune 500 clients working in the Financial Services Domain is recruiting for Localization Quality Assurance Analyst to add to their team for the location Austin, TX 78758. The duration of the assignment is expected to be 12+ months (high possibility of extension). Hiring Manager’s Notes:

• Candidate must be well-versed with Chinese language (READ/ WRITE/ SPEAK). They must be able to read and write in both Tradition and Simplified as mentioned earlier
• If they are strong on Automation with not much Cucumber and Jenkins it may still be ok but will not compromise on Chinese language requirement
• This is a Localization \ Automation Engineer position. Localization QA Testing role with Automation experience
• Transitioned to automation – automation background. Working exp in a software testing environment
• Hybrid – Localization and Automation
• Ruby scripting – Cucumber
• Whiteboarding

Description/Comment:

• Will create use cases, develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data.
• Will implement test practices, standards and processes, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects, participate in product readiness and release decisions.
• Will also establish fact based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness.
• Responsible for estimating, coordinating and directing testing for multiple products/projects.
• Software quality assurance on highly complex and/or multiple projects, including manual test case execution, defect tracking, test plan/test case creation and management, and requirements analysis is required.
• Additional requirements include testing web-based applications, performance testing, and MVS mainframe development environment experience, JCL, TSO, processing batch jobs and working with production development environments.
• Software development experience as a Client/Server Application Developer or Web Application Developer (J2EE) is preferred but not required.

Additional Job Details:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing with US companies.
• Fluent in reading and writing both traditional and simplified Chinese.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience coding in Java and/or Ruby
• Experience using Selenium WebDrive / Cucumber
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team and collaborative environment, with resources in different geographical locations.
• Proven ability of working independently on multiple projects and releases, balancing time and effort for successful delivery.
• Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) with Development, QA/Testers and Business partners.
