Work in a fast paced, process-oriented environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting mission-critical servers. This involves performing vulnerability management processes including patching and server hardening, resolving day-to-day Incidents and requests, developing and maintaining documentation. You will work daily with other analysts and engineers to assist in maintaining servers in peak performance and taking proactive measures to maximize server availability.
• Superior knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration, configuration and support.Superior Linux / UNIX shell scripting experience for patching and automation.Knowledge of VMware ESX Server, vCenter management console, Hyper-V virtualization.
• Windows server 2008R2 and 2012 support and administration experience.
• Experience with patch deployment automation tools such as BigFix.Solid hardware maintenance skill preferably on HP and/or Cisco UCS
• Good understanding of SAN connectivity in an enterprise environment.Familiar with Active Directory administration skills.
• Familiar with QIP, DHCP productsFamiliar with Windows DNS, BindSolid understanding of Change Management processes, ITILReliable, with a proven ability to follow established methodologies.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communications skills (oral, written and interpersonal).
• Team player.
• Must be able to work within a matrix management structure and interact effectively with end users and other service providers to expedite support activities.
• Analytical, possessing strong problem solving skills.
• A self-starter
• Willing to provide on-call and after-hours support as required.High availability experience is preferred.
• At least 4 years in a server support role within a large enterprise environment.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, any field.
• Required skill(s): 2008r2 and 2012, VMware ESX server, ITIL, Windows DNS, UNIX, Windows Server 2003.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in One E-com center, Mall of Asia complex, Pasay.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs. Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
