Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors.
What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance, with eligibility for SCI and a CI Scope Polygraph within 180 days.
What will I be doing? Using your expertise in Linux administration, you will be providing support for critical missions, ensuring that data stays fast, fluid, and impenetrable. In addition, you will:
Drive the secure deployment and lifecycle management of Linux workstations, enterprise servers, and HPC clusters
Eliminate manual toil by developing sophisticated automation scripts using Shell and Python
Drive system consistency and rapid deployment using Ansible for configuration management and automation
Maintain and push the performance limits of HPC clusters utilizing industry-leading tools like Bright, Slurm, and xCAT
Author and maintain high-fidelity documentation for system configurations, operational playbooks, and strategic plans
Configure and optimize Linux networking services to ensure seamless, high-bandwidth connectivity
Modernize workflows by deploying and managing containerized environments using Docker, Podman, and Apptainer
Implement and manage robust security layers, including advanced firewall configurations and fine-tuned SELinux policies
Efficiently administer local and remote filesystems, ensuring data integrity and high-speed access across the network
Other duties as assigned
What experience, training, and education do I need?
You must meet the minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Physics, or STEM
Active DoD Top Secret with eligibility for SCI and a CI Scope Polygraph within 180 days
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility
Active CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent baseline certification
U.S. Citizenship: Required for clearance eligibility
Extensive professional experience in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate hardware and software bottlenecks under pressure
Strong critical thinking skills with a methodical approach to complex system challenges
The following is preferred:
Advanced Certification: RHCE, RHCSA, or similar
DevOps Skills: Advanced proficiency in Ansible, Python, and Bash for infrastructure-as-code environments
Experience with container technologies (Docker/Podman) and scientific computing tools (Apptainer)
Supercomputing: Hands-on experience tuning HPC clusters with Bright, Slurm, and/or xCAT
Strong background in Linux networking and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix)
