Position Title: Inventory Associate
Reports to: Inventory Manager
FT/PT : Full-time, Hourly
Location : Middleton, WI (on-site)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our medical device manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing process by accurately managing inventory, organizing stock, and facilitating the movement of materials required for medical device production. The Inventory Assistant will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels, and contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Key responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, components, and
Update and maintain accurate inventory records using NetSuite ERP software.
Perform regular physical stock checks and audits to ensure inventory
Prepare and organize materials for production, ensuring accurate picking and timely delivery to manufacturing
Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment or storage, following established
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required for material Training provided.
Complete all necessary documentation related to incoming and outgoing materials accurately and
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized stores area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Collaborate with purchasing, production, and quality control teams to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient production flow.
Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:
Proficiency in basic computer applications, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
Knowledge of NetSuite or other similar ERP software is an advantage, will train.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal
Forklift operation certification is a plus, but not necessary, will provide training.
High school diploma or Further education or relevant certifications in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with potential exposure to chemicals and varying
Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended
Required safety footwear must be worn in warehouse.
