We are looking for a meticulous and technically skilled QA Specialist with strong experience in Microsoft Office. In this role, we work together to ensure that office‑based tools and add‑ins deliver dependable quality, performance, and compatibility across platforms. The position focuses on designing, performing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases that support our commitment to building reliable and user‑focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• This role includes designing and performing test cases for Excel‑based tools, including solutions integrated with COM or web‑based add‑ins.
• Validation of WPS Office functionality and compatibility is required in environments where Microsoft Office is restricted or unavailable.
• Collaboration with developers, product managers, and cross‑functional partners is central to confirming requirements and resolving defects efficiently. Smoke and regression testing are carried out regularly to maintain stability and backward compatibility.
• Test results are recorded clearly, defects are communicated accurately, and issues are monitored through full resolution.
• The scope also extends to supporting localization, internationalisation, and accessibility testing to help deliver an inclusive experience for all users.
Required Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail or Jira is valuable.
• The role requires strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities along with clear written and verbal communication in English.
• A highly self‑motivated, independent working style plays an important part in achieving success.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in testing Office Add‑ins, whether COM‑based or web‑based, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum QA practices, internationalisation or localisation testing, and non‑functional testing such as performance or accessibility adds meaningful value to this role.
Technical Core Competencies
• Strong skills in JavaScript and NodeJS are essential, supported by practical experience in UI testing.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript testing frameworks such as Cypress or WebdriverIO, API testing using POSTMAN, Git workflows, backend testing, Selenium, or Playwright is welcomed and considered beneficial.
