As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer on the AI Models team at Tenstorrent, you’ll guide the development and optimization of cutting-edge AI models for our custom AI devices. You’ll take the lead on shaping technical direction and ensuring the team delivers impactful results. This role is remote, based in Cyprus.

Who You Are

• Confident with Python programming and hands-on experience with PyTorch for developing deep learning models.

• Possess a deep understanding of ML model architectures, with the ability to optimize both individual components and overall model performance.

• Skilled at mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative team culture.

• Comfortable leading cross-functional discussions, setting priorities, and aligning efforts toward impactful results.

What We Need

• Lead the bring-up of state-of-the-art ML models on new hardware platforms.

• Direct debugging and performance tuning efforts to improve accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.

• Oversee model optimization techniques, like quantization, flash attention, kernel fusing, and multi-device parallelization.

• Champion a curiosity-driven approach by staying ahead of ML research trends and guiding the team in applying relevant advances to solve real-world engineering challenges.
