ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior Project Manager - Process Excellence at Pliant, you’ll be supporting to orchestrate globally relevant projects for the organization.You will be part of our mission control center, enabling efficient collaboration across all teams and pushing projects forward towards success.
We are not looking for a traditional “task-tracker” but a highly motivated individual that is keen to support us in building scalable systems and processes for project management, leveraging AI to eliminate the “busy work” that slows organizations down.
The role is based in Berlin, with a hybrid working model and the possibility to work remotely if required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Actively manage globally relevant projects - from new market entries, to process enhancements and new product launches
Define the success criteria and definition of done for multi-stakeholder, complex projects and align project plans with various internal stakeholders & 3rd parties
Lead internal and external facing meetings, support problem-solving and keep track of all action items discussed in meetings, supported by AI tools
Coordinate project progress as the “single source of truth” - keep project boards clean, track progress and follow-up on blockers and other project-related risks
Ensure smooth information flow across teams and support escalation processes where required
Assist in designing, documenting, and implementing new project management workflows
Actively identify manual project management tasks (scheduling, reporting, note-taking) and pilot AI tools to automate them
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
1+ years experience in Consulting, start-up environment or chief of staff role, preferably in financial services, payments or (fin)tech
Experience and active exposure to project management (set-up of project plans, milestone & task tracking)
Ability to manage cross-collaboration across various internal teams and 3rd parties
Ability to quickly understand complex processes and interdependencies
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to quickly summarize key information, progress, blockers and risks
High reliability and orientation to detail
Autonomous working style, highly motivated and proactive
Strong willingness to learn and to challenge the status quo of existing processes
Fluency in English, German and any other European language is nice to have but not required
Nice to have: knowledge of working with Notion, Jira and other workflow automation tools
