Role: Tech Lead – Java

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Java with a strong background in integrating Core SaaS products with third-party systems such as marketplaces, carriers, ERPs, and other external platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building robust integrations using Spring Boot and a proven track record of delivering seamless and scalable solutions in similar environments

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Integration Projects

•
Oversee the integration of our Core SaaS platform with third-party systems like marketplaces, carriers, and ERPs.

•
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and understand integration requirements.

2. Design and Develop Solutions

•
Build scalable, secure, and reliable integrations using Java (Spring Boot).

•
Design APIs and messaging systems for data exchange.

•
Implement error-handling, retries, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure robust data flow.

•
Leverage generative AI tools for AI-driven development.

3. Mentorship and Team Leadership

•
Provide technical guidance to team members on integration best practices.

•
Conduct code reviews and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.

4. Performance Optimization

•
Ensure system performance, scalability, and security in all integration solutions.

•
Optimize data flow between Core SaaS and third-party systems for seamless operations.

•
Participate in code reviews and performance tuning exercises.

5. Collaboration

•
Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to define the integration scope and requirements.

•
Assist with integration estimates and planning.

Key Qualifications
1. Experience

•
6 to 9 years of experience in Java development with a focus on system integration.

2. Technical Skills

•
Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and RESTful API development.

•
Hands-on experience with integration frameworks/tools and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

•
Familiarity with authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth2 and SAML.

•
Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and data transformation.

3. Integration Experience

•
Proven experience integrating SaaS platforms with marketplaces, carriers, ERP systems, or other third-party platforms.

•
Knowledge of SOAP/REST-based integration patterns.

4. Soft Skills

•
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

•
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•
Experience with marketplace integration (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Shopify).

•
Experience working in SaaS or multi-tenant architecture environments.

•
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

•
Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Cursor AI.
