Job Description

POSITION TITLE:            Senior QA Test Engineer                     

REPORTING TO:              Associate Director

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing as well as automation testing and API testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, DevOps, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality CRM solutions that meet functional and performance expectations.

 

 Job description:

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Service, Marketing), model driven apps and canvas apps.

Perform manual testing of CRM customizations, workflows, plugins, and integrations

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks

Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, or similar platforms

Validate CRM integrations with external systems and ensure data consistency

Collaborate with developers and DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment validations

Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, review and retrospectives

Identify, document, and track defects in Azure DevOps

Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Analyse test results and provide actionable feedback to the development team

Maintain comprehensive test documentation and contribute to QA best practices

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar test management tools

Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)

Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques

Understanding of CRM data models and business processes

Experience with model-driven apps and canvas apps

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment coordination

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
