Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Remote (India)
Experience: 3–5 years
Education: Master’s in Human Resources (preferred)
Reporting to: Global Head of HR
Work hours: 20 hrs/ week (Part- Time Contract role)
Salary: ₹570/hr (indicative; open to adjustment for exceptional candidates)
Role Summary
We are looking for a high-ownership HR with exceptional communication skills to fully own employee engagement initiatives and support the Global Head of HR on people and culture programs. This role is execution-focused, requires strong International exposure, and involves close coordination with other organizational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of company-wide employee engagement initiatives end-to-end
Plan, execute, and deploy people & culture programs
Act as a core execution support to the Global Head of HR and other People & Culture stakeholders and employees
Support and execute organizational change initiatives, policy rollouts, and global HR programs
Handle employee relations matters, concerns, and escalations with discretion and maturity
Manage HR operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance across India, US, and Canada
Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliance, and audit readiness
Own and manage external vendors (payroll, compliance, culture partners)
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional internal teams
Build and maintain HR dashboards, support townhalls, and leadership-ready insights
Drive automation and process efficiencies across HR operations
Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across HR systems
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in HR operations / employee engagement
Proven experience owning employee life cycle
Knowledge or understanding of labor laws, compliance, and payroll in India, US, and Canada
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
High ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
Tech-savvy with experience in HRIS, documentation, dashboards, and automation (BambooHR experience is an asset), microsoft gsuite.
Ability to work independently while supporting senior leadership
