Head of Consolidation (m/f/d)

Shape and actively drive the development and continuous improvement of our Group Finance structures in your role as Head of Consolidation.
Are you looking to go beyond preparing financial statements and instead play an active role in developing finance processes and structures in an international environment? Then take on a key position as Head of Consolidation within our Finance organization and collaborate closely with the CFO as well as international stakeholders.
In this role, you combine deep expertise in Group Accounting with strong ownership, leadership, and a clear ambition to continuously enhance and optimize processes.

What awaits you at Mynaric:
• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements at group level
• Active management and continuous development of the group-wide consolidation process
• Preparation and ownership of consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, as well as handling relevant HGB topics within the holding structures
• Coordination of external reporting, including publications and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Close collaboration with external auditors, tax advisors, as well as internal subject-matter experts and leadership teams
• Ensuring structure and transparency within complex accounting and reporting processes
• Identification of optimization potential and proactive driving of automation and standardization initiatives
• Contribution to and ownership of the further development of efficient Group Finance structures
• Promotion of employees’ professional and personal development, as well as building a modern, scalable Group Finance organization

What you bring with you:
• Successfully completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in Group Accounting, consolidation, or audit
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and HGB
• Experience with international corporate structures and group financial statements
• Ability to manage complex topics in a pragmatic and solution-oriented manner
• Passion for improving processes and taking ownership
• Leadership mindset with the ability to coordinate teams and delegate effectively
• Fluency in both German and English
