Are you a strategic leader with strong financial controlling expertise, a passion for process excellence, and a proven track record in finance transformation and automation?
At Flora Food Group, we have built a strong technology foundation with our single state-of-the-art core SAP S/4HANA ERP platform, implemented across the entire business. Within this environment, the Record-to-Report (R2R) Global Process Owner (GPO) plays a critical role in shaping and governing our global finance processes.
As Global Process Owner R2R, you will be responsible for defining and driving the global vision, governance, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Record-to-Report process. You will lead the global R2R process agenda across the organization and ensure the processes optimally support business steering, financial integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance.
You will work closely with senior finance leaders, Shared Services, IT, and external partners to drive process standardization, automation, and transformation. In this role, you will also lead the Global Process Development Manager R2R, who supports the development and implementation of process improvements and transformation initiatives.
This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future finance operating model of Flora Food Group and drive tangible impact across our global organization.
Responsibilities:
• You define, own and drive the global vision, strategy and governance framework for the Record-to-Report process, ensuring alignment with Flora Food Group’s Finance transformation agenda.
• You act as the global owner of the end-to-end R2R process, covering areas such as journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, financial close and reporting readiness.
• You ensure global process standardization, simplification and harmonization across regions, entities and Shared Services.
• You lead the global R2R development and transformation agenda, supported by the Global Process Development Manager and cross-functional project teams.
• You build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, Shared Services, and the business, ensuring alignment between global process design and operational execution.
• You work closely with Flora IT architects and technology teams to drive finance automation and enable digital capabilities through tools such as SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, Power BI and other finance technologies.
• You monitor and steer process performance through global KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement in close cycle time, process quality, efficiency and control effectiveness.
• You act as the key escalation point for complex R2R process issues, ensuring structural resolution and sustainable process improvements.
• You collaborate closely with Shared Services (FSS India), Regional Finance teams, Group Reporting, Tax, Treasury and Internal Audit to ensure end-to-end process integrity and compliance.
• You ensure the R2R process framework supports strong internal controls, audit readiness and SOX compliance.
• You play a central role in Finance transformation initiatives, enabling automation, data-driven insights and scalable processes across the organization.
What Does It Take to Be Successful?
For this Global Process Owner role, we are looking for a highly experienced finance leader with a strong combination of process expertise, strategic thinking and transformation experience.
• You have an outstanding educational and professional background in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• You bring 10–15+ years of experience within Finance, Controllership, Finance Transformation or Shared Services roles in a multinational environment.
• You have strong expertise in Record-to-Report processes, financial close, consolidation and finance operating models.
• You have demonstrated experience in finance transformation, process standardization and automation initiatives.
• You bring strong finance knowledge; ideally you are a qualified Auditor, CPA, ACCA or Controller.
• You have strong experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and finance automation tools such as BlackLine, Power BI or similar technologies.
• You are a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, able to influence senior stakeholders and lead global change initiatives.
• You are a team player with high energy and drive, able to bring people along in transformation and build strong relationships across functions and regions.
• Experience in FMCG or a fast-moving multinational environment is considered a strong advantage.
At Flora, you will be a key enabler of growth, efficiency and compliance within our global plant-based business.
As we are private equity owned (KKR), you will also help ensure that our finance processes and systems are scalable, efficient and ready to support future strategic developments, including potential changes in ownership.
